when applying liquid foundation most women tend to put the foundation on a latex sponge, this is the worst thing you can do!! not only does the latex sponge absorb most of the foundation, you are also wasting half of it - and as we know foundation aint CHEAP!
tip: instead of using the latex sponge to apply your foundation, rather use your finger tips, apply a even layer and then ONLY use the latex sponge to pat or blend the foundation into your skin
not only will your foundation last longer, the latex sponge will also last a few applications longer
tip: another alternative way of applying liquid foundation is by getting a NON latex sponge called a Sea sponge, this is a very funny looking thing but works wonders, the life span of this little one is longer and much easier to clean. you only use what is put on the sea sponge as its not as absorbent as latex sponges
lightly dampen your sea sponge under water and apply minimal foundation directly onto the sponge, apply to your skin in a patting motion and then blend or pat evenly with a latex sponge.
